Movie Night, Friday October 5: Captain Underpants

The first Movie Night of the year is Friday, October 5, with a showing of “Captain Underpants” (rated PG). Parents can check-in and drop off their children between 5:30-6:30 p.m. and pick-up by 8:00 p.m. in the auditorium. A dinner of hot dogs, fruit, vegies, and popcorn is included. The Support Sequoia campaign started with a bang last week, as 46% percent of students returned their forms. So far you have raised over $42,000, putting us well on the way toward our target goal of raising $80,000 by Sept. 27. School Site Council Meeting, Tuesday, September 11

The first School Site Council (SSC) meeting of the year, where new members will be elected, is on Tuesday, Sept. 11 at 5 p.m. in the library. The SSC works with the principal to review and evaluate school programs and the school budget. This is a great way to get involved and make a difference at Sequoia. Meetings are scheduled for the second Tuesday of each month. »
