Fundraising Campaigns

Support Sequoia

Support Sequoia is an annual giving campaign, responsible for about a third of our overall fundraising! Nothing is bought or sold; families are simply asked to make a tax-deductible donation that goes directly to our enrichment programs. This is our largest fundraiser of the year. With school-wide participation, we can continue to offer these amazing programs — programs that not only give our students a well-rounded education, but also support Sequoia’s core academic instruction by giving our teachers time with smaller class groups, tailored to students’ individual needs. The 2017-2018 campaign runs Monday, September 11 – Friday, October 6, 2017.

Neighborhood Appeal

The Neighborhood Appeal is both community outreach and fundraiser. In a letter distributed to the local community we highlight the successful neighborhood public school that is Sequoia! Each year showcases a different program or gives an invitation to an event at our school. The letter asks for financial support, but also enables us to appreciate and acknowledge what the community’s previous contributions have made possible at Sequoia. Volunteers are needed to make copies, stuff envelopes, and distribute letters throughout the neighborhood.
