Get Ready for the Sequoia Variety Show

Get Ready for the Sequoia Variety Show

The 2016 Sequoia Dads’ Club Variety Show is right around the corner. The 27th annual event will be held coming up fast, on Friday, March 18 — and we’re encouraging kids and parents to start thinking about how to get involved!

This beloved event lets students show off their talents, be creative and have a blast. Singing and dancing, comedy, magic, juggling, playing music and skits — we encourage acts of all kinds to perform.

New performers and volunteers needed

We’re looking for fresh talent among students of all grades and ages. This is a great way for students to overcome shyness and enjoy the thrill of being on stage and putting together a spectacular performance.

Please begin talking to your students about being part of this year’s Variety Show, whether as individuals or part of a group act!

We’re also seeking new parent volunteers. We’re looking for people who are willing to coordinate workshops, help out with auditions and rehearsals, coordinate behind-the-scenes work such as scenery, lights, sound, and makeup, and more. Parents interested in being involved should come to our upcoming kickoff organizers’ meeting. Please contact Stacey Gordon or Heidi if you want to get involved.
