“Hog Wild”: Volunteers Needed for Silent Auction & Family Dance

It’s that time of year again, and we are gearing up for the Sequoia Silent Auction & Family Dance Feb. 9. This year’s theme is “Hog Wild,” and we need volunteers! With your help, we had an amazing event last year and hope to do even better this year. There are a number of ways to help. We need the following volunteers:

  • Creative writers to help promote the event (website copy,
    updates on Next-door, newsletter/social media posts). All can
    be done in the comfort of your home.
  • Carpenter (amateur or professional skills) to make outdoor
    games, think corn hole or giant Jenga.
  • Photographer to do mini-photo sessions, about 15 minutes
    per family for a fixed cost.
  • Silent auction donation solicitors to ask businesses and
    individuals for donations.
  • People who work at fun/interesting places to donate a
    private tour to the auction.
  • Sponsors to donate money. If you are a small business, this is
    a perfect way to promote your business. And, don’t forget about asking your employer for an employee match.
  • If you are interested in helping in any capacity or have questions, contact the Silent Auction team at sequoiaauctionteam@gmail.com. If you have something to donate, please use the form at bit.ly/2019sequoiaauction.
    Thank you in advance.
