At Sequoia, we understand how difficult it can be to choose the right school for your child. We are a small neighborhood school between the "hills" and the "flats," reflecting the diversity and energy of both.

  • excellent teachers and academic opportunity
  • the benefits of committed parent involvment groups
  • A respectful, challenging and supportive environment
  • An outstanding, caring, stable and 100% credentialed staff
  • An innovative and effective literacy program
Some of the many enrichment programs:
  • A Garden Program
  • A Visual Arts Program
  • An Instrumental Music Program
  • Kindergarten and Upper Grade Choirs
  • Before- and after-school Child Care options
  • Innovative after-school programs
  • Conflict Resolution Program and Social Skills instruction
  • Opportunities for student leadership and dramatic expression
  • Exciting field trips aligned with classroom curriculum that take advantage of the Bay Area's rich culture
