SPTO (formerly FOSS)

SPTO (Sequoia Parent Teacher Organization) (formerly known as Friends of Sequoia School (FOSS)) is a volunteer group, much like a Parent-Teachers Association (PTA), that supports students and teachers for basic classroom needs, teacher professional development, and Sequoia’s enrichment programs — including art, music, kindergarten motor skills, science, garden, and library.

SPTO helps to foster communication between teachers and families, and helps to inform parents about education and child development topics.

SPTO Meetings

SPTO meeting times alternate from the 2nd Tuesday (evening at school) to the 3rd Saturday (morning, location varies). Dinner is provided at the evening meetings. Childcare is provided at every meeting. See the calendar for dates and times of upcoming meetings.
